Our installation service covers sauna assembly only. Electrical work is not included. Please ensure a standard UK 13amp plug socket is available at the installation location. Looking After Your Sauna
Minor marks such as scratches or scuffs can be easily maintained:
- Light sanding with fine-grain sandpaper is recommended
- Avoid harsh chemical treatments or high-alcohol products
Over time, some woods (such as Cedar) may develop a softer, weathered tone—this is a natural ageing process.
Electrical Installation (Important)
For safety and warranty protection:
👉 All sauna stoves must be installed by a qualified electrician in line with UK Part P regulations.
Failure to do so:
- Can be hazardous
- Will invalidate the warranty
What’s Not Covered
As with all premium products, some components are considered consumables or subject to natural wear:
- Light bulbs
- Sauna stones (may crack or erode over time)
- Seat covers (general wear and tear)
We recommend checking sauna stones periodically and replacing them as needed to maintain performance.
Additional Notes
- Installation labour or third-party services are not covered under warranty
- Indoor saunas must not be installed outdoors, as this will void the warranty

Saunas vary by model, and details are shown on each product page but here is a general guide too help. Please ask us for further information on individual products.
How much does it cost to run a sauna?
The cost of running a sauna depends on its wattage and how long you use it. Our saunas typically range from 2kW to 10kW. On average, running a sauna for an hour can cost between £0.50 and £2.50. Please refer to this Electricity cost calculator for more information.
How hot does the sauna get and how hot does the steam get?
For traditional steam saunas, the heat time and temperature can set by control panel is: 0-90mins and 18-99 degrees Celsius.
Are there any precautions I need to take like anti-mould?
If the sauna is placed in a very humid area, try to keep it dry. otherwise, no need do any precaution.
What size cable does this need for its supply?
For 3000W saunas, you would need at least 2.5mm size power input wire. For 4500W saunas, you would need at least 4mm power input wire.
Would an RCD be needed for the steam sauna?
Yes, a REC protection from the board would be needed. Please talk to your local electrician for details.
Is it delivered assembled?
No, the sauna is delivered dissembled and flat packed. Assembly is simple and easy with assemble videos or 3D manual.
How long does it take to heat up once you turn it on?
When the external environment temperature is 10 degrees Celsius, it takes about 15 minutes to heat up to 50 degrees Celsius, and about 30 minutes to heat up to 70 degrees Celsius.
Does the timber from the outside get hot? Is it safe for children to touch this?
The timber outside is not hot, just little warmer and safety for touch.
Can the outside be painted or will this affect it in anyway?
Yes, outside of sauna with wood nature colour paint.
What type of wood is it made of?
The wood is Canadian hemlock.

Returns and Refunds

Right to Cancel
You have the right to cancel this contract within 14 days without giving any reason. The cancellation period will expire after 14 days from the day on which you, or a third party other than the carrier indicated by you, takes physical possession of the goods. To exercise the right to cancel, you must inform us of your decision to cancel this contract by a clear statement by email to sales@ourhomegym.co.uk.
To meet the cancellation deadline, it is sufficient for you to send your communication concerning your exercise of the right to cancel before the cancellation period has expired.
Once the right to cancel period has expired we may still accept returns, although additional charges will be applicable. However, these regulations do not restrict the statutory right to cancel and do not apply during the 14 days cancellation period.
Effects of Cancellation
If you cancel this contract during the 14 day cancellation period, we will reimburse all payments received from you, including the costs of delivery (except for the supplementary costs arising if you chose a type of delivery other than the least expensive type of standard delivery offered by us). We may make a deduction from the reimbursement for loss in value of any goods supplied if the loss is the result of unnecessary handling by you.
We will make the reimbursement without undue delay, and not later than –
(a) 14 days after the day we receive back from you any goods supplied, or
(b) (if earlier) 14 days after the day you provide evidence that you have returned the goods, or
(c) if there were no goods supplied, 14 days after the day on which we are informed about your decision to cancel this contract.
We will make the reimbursement using the same means of payment as you used for the initial transaction unless you have expressly agreed otherwise; in any event, you will not incur any fees as a result of the reimbursement. We may withhold reimbursement until we have received the goods back or you have supplied evidence of having sent back the goods, whichever is the earliest. You shall send back the goods or hand them over to us without undue delay and in any event not later than 14 days from the day on which you communicate your cancellation from this contract to us. The deadline is met if you send back the goods before the period of 14 days has expired.
You will have to bear the direct cost of returning the goods.
You are only liable for any diminished value of the goods resulting from the handling other than what is necessary to establish the nature, characteristics and functioning of the goods.

If the item you wish to return has delicate physical properties please make sure that any courier used is aware that the contents of the shipment could contain delicate items. Also, make sure that any courier shipment is fully insured to the value of the shipment (retail price).
